QUEEN MMA MEDIA – Fighter of the Year

QUEEN MMA Media FIGHTER of the YEAR AWARDS
 
From its founding QUEEN MMA Media has honored MMA athletes that excel in the cage and outside the sport. In an effort to support and promote the athletes of women’s MMA, QUEEN MMA Media established two yearly awards; Amateur WMMA Athlete of the Year and Professional WMMA Athlete of the Year. In 2017 the process of selecting the award recipients was not done via popularity rating or fan supported votes. The 2017 award recipients were selected based on performance, achievement, success, sportsmanship, dedication, courage, character, and heart. The Queen MMA Media selections were decided by a panel of experienced individuals from within the industry and sport.

In 2018 QUEEN MMA Media elected to nominate six WMMA athletes for the Amateur Fighter of the Year Award and eight WMMA athletes for the Professional Fighter of the Year Award. QUEEN MMA Media invited fans to decide by way of vote who the winners would be.
